Jon Lauren Apparel is a family business. Since 1981 we've made and wholesaled one kind of product — quality fleece — for one kind of customer: the shops, stands and print houses that keep America's boardwalks, beach towns and main streets busy.
It started small, in Old Bridge, New Jersey. A few styles, a few cases, and a simple idea: if you make a sweatshirt good enough that the shop owner never worries about it, they'll come back. Forty-five years later, that's still the whole playbook. Many of our accounts have been ordering from us for decades — some across two and three generations of the same family business.
We never chased fashion cycles and we never chased shortcuts. We stock heavyweight 9 oz fleece with double-row stitching, in the colors that sell on a boardwalk in July — and we keep it deep, so when your best seller runs low in the middle of the season, the fill-in ships the same day from our New Jersey warehouse, anywhere in the continental USA and Canada.
We also believe loyalty runs both ways. We protect our customers — we don't flood a town with new accounts to compete against the shops that built us. When you open an account with Jon Lauren, you're not a number in a system. You call, a person answers, and your cartons go out the door.
